Negotiation really is an art, and a very delicate one at that. Unfortunately, in 7 years as a headhunter I observed and heard horror stories from my colleagues where stellar candidates make it through all the interviews and get an offer, only for things to fall apart at the offer stage. Some waited too late to communicate expectations, some got greedy in the final hours, some didn’t provide the right documentation, the list goes on and on.
If you have made it to that final stage – CONGRATULATIONS!! You have done the very hard bit. But it ain’t over yet! Remember your best leverage is when they want you and before you sign. Use this time wisely and respectfully so that you are in the best possible position before you start that dream job. We go through what you would ideally like to sign the offer. It may be more base salary, a better bonus, pension, shares, flexible time off, etc. Then we develop your negotiation strategy based on data and agree the tactics to use and what to expect. I will support you through your entire negotiation; think of me as your independent sounding board.
It may be that you are negotiating with a company directly and want some independent advice. Perhaps you would like a second opinion on some advice you received. Whatever it may be, help is here. Some may feel awkward getting support at this stage in the offer cycle however, getting the negotiation right is essential to landing your package and the impression you make before you join a company. Every negotiation is unique, we work together throughout this stage (weekends included!).

• Two hours of my time, split as needed to develop our approach and follow up whenever you need it. I’m on call to help you, weekends included.

• A clear understanding of what to go for in the negation, and how best to get it
